Battle recreation is July 11

The annual Battle of the Neches memorial celebration hosted by the American Indian Cultural Society will be all day Saturday, July 11 at the battle site at Highway 64 and F.M. 4923 (about 15 miles west of Tyler).

A picnic will begin at 5:30 p.m. An RV camp will be available.
