The annual Brownsboro Bearettes Basketball camp had a large turnout for the five-day event last week. After a week-long basketball camp for the girls, directed by BHS Bearettes head coach Fred Griffin, the results from the various age-divided competitions are in.

In the Free Throw competiton, the winners from the charity stripe were:

6&7 years old - Emily Martin, first place; Trinity Mosely, second place; Madison Bristow, third place; Peyton Ray, fourth place; and Katelyn McDaniel, fifth place.

8 years old - Cami Wyatt, first place; Marisa Laawrence, second place; Madison Anderson, third place; and Aubrey Kirkpatrick, fourth place.

9 years old - Morgan Fulgham, first place; Haleigh Gilbert, second place; Tryster Mosely, third place; Eriuna Crawford, fourth place; and Emily Edwards, fifth place.

10 years old - Heather Curtis, first place; Kamolyn Bailey, second place; Rebecca McGough, third place; Chelsea Sheldon, fourth place; and Briee Daughtry, fifth place.

In the Hot Shot competition, the winners from distance were:

In the layups competitions, only those kids under 11 years old competed in their respective age groups.

GAME COMPETITIONS

During the camp, age-level game competitions were held. The results were as follows:

12&13&14 years old - Yellow Swampdogs, first place; Flamingos, second place; and Penguins, third place.

The Yellow Swampdogs were made up of: Jacobi Parker, Anna Wood, Ashlee, Brooke, Rachel Pate, Kristin Nance, Tori, Megann, and Reiney Draper.

The Rainbow Flamingos were made up of: Jenny, Breanna, Jordan San Miguel, Devin Carver, Kaylan Harris, Briana Warren, Sidney Hightower, Taylor Cover, and Nikki Beall.

The Yellow Penguins were made up of: Baylee Wilson, Layne Dingler, Meagan Gailey, Shayla Mitchell, Meosha Deed, Kirsti Harris, Sarah Jotilee, Hannah Hunt, and Kailey Morrison.

10&11 years old - Mavs, first place; Magic, second place; and Aggies, third place.
