A NEW DAY WITH GOD

As this night closes out this day,

It will bring a new day my way.

I know that God will send new blessings this day,

For He has so much to show me and say.

Oh, the years that have passed and gone,

I can only think of all the love He has shown.

He gave us the best He had to give,

All we need to do is show love, receive, and live.

I remember all my childhood years,

All the good times and all the tears.

Where did all the time go?

I really miss my mom and dad so.

Those days that have come and gone,

Still live in my heart in every dawn,

They hold all the love, wonder and awe,

And all the majestic miracles of God that I saw.

The world and all its beauty is free,

Just take a look and see;

Each day there is much to behold,

And it was all foretold.

Every day the sunrise and sunset is a beauty in itself,

And as the day closes we cannot put them on a shelf,

At the end of the day we close our eyes,

Only to awaken in God's glory and much to our surprise.

As my childhood years came and flew by, there was more to be shown,

There entered my children that I watched to be grown,

Undoubtedly the most blessed time in my life,

Time spent under God's blue skies without much strife.

As one day closes, God has a special way to bless life,

My new day now is filled with being a wife.

The beauty and joy of this new day is more than I can say,

Just thanks be to God for His opening my new day!
