Boy needs help with prolonged sickness

ELIJAH DUNKLIN ELIJAH DUNKLIN Elijah Dunklin, a local 8- year-old boy, is the son of Leah Dunklin. Grandparents are Rick Dunklin and Carla Parker. He has been sick for several years, going back and forth to many doctors. He has been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritus and diagnosed as a carrier of the Lupus gene.

This means he is likely to develop this disease at any time. He has an autoimmune disease and is likely to easily catch anything in the air. It makes it very hard for him to fight off any virus or sickness and get well. He also is severely anemic. The final diagnosis is still unknown, and he has been limited to no physical activities for the summer.

Elijah will be in third grade in Brownsboro ISD this year, and he is an A-B honor student.

He played for the Brownsboro Bears Little League football and he likes to play with his big brother Micah and sister Ellison.

He recently asked Jesus into his heart.

Rachel Barton, Elijah's aunt has set up a benefit fund account at Citizens State Bank. Donations may be made at any of the CSB locations.
