Sheriff Ray Nutt Sheriff Ray Nutt On July 15, 2009, shortly before midnight, Henderson County Deputies were dispatched to a fight call at an address off of Rolling Oaks Road in Tool.

ECSO Deputies Robert Powers, David Robertson and Kendall Wellman responded to the initial call and were assisted by officers from Tool PD. Shortly after midnight, HCSO Sheriff Ray Nutt arrived on the location and officers learned the following:

Approximately 15 people congregated at the location to reportedly watch a fight between two males. During the fight, two spectators, Shanna Wooldridge (18 years of age) from Eustace and a female juvenile from Malakoff were reportedly struck with baseball bats by a female suspect. The juvenile was reportedly rendered unconscious as a result of a blow to the head.

The juvenile was transported to ETMC in Gun Barrel City by EMS with nonlife threatening injuries. At the hospital, deputies identified 19-year-old Christopher Baker who was also reportedly injured during the fight and was being evaluated for a shoulder injury.

At the time of this release, the case has been assigned to Investigator Bryan Tower and arrests are expected following that investigation.
