Bi-monthly musical set
Parkside Shores will host Music Night with country, gospel and 1950s music with the ET Backroads Band from 6 to 8:30 p.m. every first and third Monday of the month at the Clubhouse.
The performance will be open to the public, including free food, free music.

Lions meet Tuesdays
The Chandler Lions Club regular meeting dates are at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month at the Chandler Community Center.

Bears program ads on sale
Advertisement spaces are now on sale for the 2009- 2010 Brownsboro Bear Football Program. Those who wish to purchase an ad for an athlete or business can contact any varsity cheerleader for a form.

Riding club series slated
The Athens Riding Club Summer Buckle Series will meet every Tuesday evening through July 28, 2009. Barrels plus two other speed events featured. Exhibition rides available. Bluegrass concert set
An afternoon of Bluegrass music has been set, with three live bands performing at the Texas Gospel Music Hall on Highway 19 in Athens.
It is set for 6 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 8.
