Organizers of "Bears Youth Football" are urging anyone still wanting to participate in the league to "register now!"

A recent registration day didn't get the turnout that was expected mainly, organizers believe, because of late summer vacations before the kids go back to school.

"And, with school out, there's not a lot of ways to let people know about it," said Earl Wilmeth.

The leagues of for youngsters ages 5 thru 12.

Those interested may sign up on their Web site: www.cbbears.com or simply show up to practice.

Practices are held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the track by the "bus barn" in Brownsboro on Highway 31.
