Chandler Lions plans are well underway for the upcoming Pow Wow Parade and Fall Celebration scheduled for Oct. 10.

The event is a joint effort sponsored by the Lions and the Greater Chandler and Brownsboro Chamber of Commerce.

Parade Chair Tom Martin will circulate parade applications by Aug. 31 to those who participated last year.

Final details for the theme, the grand marshall, the parade routing, and booth applications will be forthcoming.

So mark your calendars, and as soon as the theme is announced, make plans to build a float, come to Winchester Park, see all the new renovations, and have some fun.

While you're marking your calendars, reserve Sept. 22 for the Lions Club spaghetti dinner, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Chandler Community Center.
