Duncan Joyce Ann Duncan, 93, of Chandler, Texas, passed away on August 24, 2009, at Tyler, Texas.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Friday at Porter Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Marcus Sheffield and Rev. Randy Robinson officiating.

Interment followed at Mexia Cemetery.

Joyce was born on May 29, 1916 in Troup, Texas, to Lonnie Franklin and Minnie Murphy Wilbourn.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mexia as well as a member of the Eastern Star and attended the Rebecca Lodge.

Joyce was loved by many family and friends and will be deeply missed.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton "Bill" Duncan; parents and a grandson, Tim Duncan. She is survived by her child ren, Clinton "Bill" Duncan, Jr. and wife, Margie of Irving, Jerry Duncan and wife, Dodi of Irving and Bessie Robinson and husband, Robert of Chandler; 11 grandchildren; 21 greatgrandchildren; nine greatgreat grandchildren and numberous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers were Jason Newman, Kevin Newman, Lance Duncan, Tyler Robinson, Duncan Robinson and Danny Robinson.

Porter Funeral Home, Mexia, was in charge of arrangements.
