Betty Grable was a world War II pinup.

If she was drinking tea you would want a sup.

She was in every World War II GI's wall locker.

When she appeared at the USO they would stalk her.

Ava Gardner was a lucious queen,

Lovely as anyone I've ever seen.

Got involved with Sinatra and Stout;

That's when we had our falling out.

Marilyn Monroe posed for Playboy.

To a lot of celebs, she was a playtoy.

Got between the mob and Kennedy clan,

A bad combination that cooked her can.

Kim Novak played in the movie called Picnic.

She could play a role and never miss a lick.

She was destined to be a star.

A beutiful girl, I don't care who you are.

Liz Taylor was someone all the guys liked.

For some reason she was just not my type.

She seemed to think she was a cut above.

Easy to look at but there was no love.

Jayne Mansfield was slightly sleezy.

Played some roles that were downright cheezy.

The wild party life got to her too.

Died in a car wreck while drinking mountain dew.

One of my all-time favorites is Sandra Bullock.

Not as pretty as some, but down to earth as a lock,

Acts like an old-fashioned country girl,

The kind a young man would take for a whirl.

MY PERSONAL GARDEN OF EDEN

Out in the back

Behind the old wood shed

Lies a garden of beauty Once left for dead.

Under the bower

Beneath the wheel barrel,

Grows squirrel-planted acorns

Now tall like towers.

Wild lilacs climb old chairs

A rustic scene overrun by weeds,

Is my personal Garden of Eden.
