We want to welcome everyone back to school!

It is time to join PTO again, and the first meeting will be Tuesday, at 7 p.m.. We will begin preparing for the Fall festival in October.

Pre-Kindergarten is a half-day program for our 4-year-olds, and Mrs. Kiker will be teaching them along with Mrs. Tullos. Bus transportation is being provided this year before school, midday, and after school for PK.

Kindergarten is an all-day program for 5-year-olds where students learn the basics of their education. The teachers are Ms. Ellis, Ms. Parker, Ms. Barnes, Mrs. Birdwell, and Mrs. Adair.

First grade is an exciting year where we see the children picking up books and beginning to read. Mrs. Welsinger, Mrs. Reid, Mrs. Patterson, Mrs. Ashbreck, Mrs. Williams, and Mrs. Carter are looking forward to teaching your students.

In second grade, the students are becoming more independent and begin developing their critical thinking skills. Mrs. Hopson, Mrs. White, Mrs. Spencer, Mrs. Hauser, and Mrs. Sherman are looking forward to a new year.

Third grade is the year where students first experience our state testing. Mrs. Phillips, Mrs. Baley, Mrs. Drake, Mr. Hauser, and Mrs. McCullough are ready to make your child successful.
