PARKSIDE SHORES

Parkside Shores will host Music Night with country, gospel and 1950s format with the East Texas Backroads Band, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., every first and third Monday of the month at the Clubhouse.

Donations are accepted.

CHANDLER LIONS

The Chandler Lions Club regular meeting dates are at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month at the Chandler Community Center.

Keep Brownsboro Beautiful is scheduled to meet on the first Tuesday of each month, at 7 p.m., at the Brownsboro Community Center.

The first meeting is set for Oct. 6. CATTLE BARON'S BALL

The Henderson County Cattle Baron's Ball is scheduled for Friday, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Athens Country Club.

The Chandler Fire Department is scheduled to host a fish fry Saturday, at 11 a.m.

Chandler Intermediate School is set to host its stars assemblies Oct. 1 to recognize students for their accomplishments during the first six weeks.

The times: fifth grade at 8:15a.m.; sixth grade at 9; and fourth grade at 10:30 a.m.

PARKER REUNION

The Parker family reunion is set for Oct. 2-4 at 32923 County Road 3606 in Brownsboro, off FM 607.

The event is planned for 5 p.m. Oct. 2 and Oct. 3, and for noon on Oct. 4.

RIDING CLUB

Frankston Riding Club is scheduled to host its halloween bash Oct. 31, at 2 p.m.

Frankston Riding Club is on State Highway 155, next to Beacon Chevrolet.

Participants are divided into four age groups: 8 and under, 9-12, 13-17, and 18 and over, and are asked to bring one bag of candy and to wear constumes.
