The Chandler Lions Club wishes to express its appreciation to each participant in the 2009 Chandler Pow Wow Parade. Here are a few last-minute parade instructions:

Registered entries for 4- wheelers, horses, intermediate and elementary schools, and floats who have completed applications should have received maps and letters with their staging areas identified.

All other entries will stage in area "A" at the Coy Ellis truck parking lot immediately south of the railroad tracks, on the west side of FM 315.

Children riding on floats are to be dropped at the Chandler Funeral Home parking lot, just south of God's Open Hands on FM 315.

When your exhibit enters Winchester Park, please do not stop until you enter the pasture. Stopping adversely affects the traffic flow to State Highway 31.

During the parade, parking will be permitted on each side of FM 315 in the "No Parking" area adjacent to the park. Immediately after the parade has passed, you must move your vehicle. Additional parking is available at the old rodeo arena. Refer to the notice in today's edition, "Chandler City Hall."

Parents may enter or exit the pasture to pick up children by using FM 315 to San Saba Street, to Pecos, and then enter the gate on the northwest corner of the pasture.

Floats will also exit the pasture using the same streets.

Please do not block this entry/exit route.
