Parkside Shores will host Music Night with country, gospel and 1950s format with the East Texas Backroads Band, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., every first and third Monday of the month at the Clubhouse.

Donations are accepted.

The Brownsboro Intermediate School Fall festival is set for Oct. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Students may wear costumes appropriate for a school event.

An AARP driver-safety course is set for Oct. 24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at West Lake Baptist Church on FM 315 South.

RIDING CLUB

Frankston Riding Club is scheduled to host its halloween bash Oct. 31, at 2 p.m.

Frankston Riding Club is on State Highway 155, next to Bacon Chevrolet.

Participants are divided into four age groups: 8 and under, 9-12, 13-17, and 18 and over, and are asked to bring one bag of candy and to wear costumes.
