WRITER'S CORNER
Christ in me that overflows,
On and on His light in me grows.
He is the dawn that is peaceful and still
Residing in me that others see,
I walk with Him and talk with Him on the bended knee.
Christ is the greatest friend I have made.
He is the foundation that has been laid.
Christ is the beautiful song I have sung
With Him my journey has just begun.
He is in my heart that is filled with honey,
So sweet and pure and more satisfying than money.
Christ endures and His salvation so near.
He is the Comforter that wipes my tears,
And with Jesus my paths lead to Heaven's gates.
Christ in me and my righteous estate,
Far above the darkness of this earth.
With Jesus Christ I know what I am worth.
Christ in me and my burdens lighter;
With Him by my side I am a valiant fighter.
Opposed to the sins of mortal man
I gladly give my life to Christ who understands.
Christ in me that holds me high
He who has arisen to the skies;
He in His mercy and grace and everlasting love,
Has apportioned me a place in his mansion high above.
Christ in me who carries my cross
Away all my sorrows that He has tossed.
Christ, that provider of compassion and meekness
Has given me strength out of my fatigue and weakness,
Christ in me and His victory won,
He that has conquered all things under the sun;
Christ in me that lingers each day,
He is the Lamb of God to whom I do pray.
And Christ is the True Shepherd that keeps
Me in His flock, and in His heart that is divine and so deep.
Christ in me and together we go,
Every which way the wicked winds blow.
He is the Lord who calms the seas and the storms.
Christ in me that keeps me from harm,
And Christ in me that holds me tenderly to His breast,
He is my Savior that molds me and allows me to rest.
