PARKSIDE SHORES

Harvest Fest is set for Saturday at Parkside Shores, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Kids will be treated to candy, and games, a cake walk, and bingo will be available.

HCHS

The Henderson County Humane Society is scheduled to host a drivethrough rabies clinic Saturday, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Shots will be given at the Courthouse Annex in Chandler.

From 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., shots will be given at the Sunrise Shores Community Center.

Cats must be in carriers.

BROWNSBORO INT.

The Brownsboro Intermediate School Fall festival is set for Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Students may wear costumes appropriate for a school event.

Tickets may be purchased in advance.

GOLDEN GIRLS

A Golden Girls fundraiser has been scheduled for Oct. 24, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Chandler Community Center.

Tickets for the spaghetti dinner are available at the door or from any Golden Girl.

AARP

An AARP driver-safety course is set for Oct. 24, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at West Lake Baptist Church on FM 315 South.

RIDING CLUB

Frankston Riding Club is scheduled to host its halloween bash Oct. 31, at 2 p.m.

Frankston Riding Club is on State Highway 155, next to Bacon Chevrolet.

Participants are divided into four age groups: 8 and under, 9-12, 13-17, and 18 and over.

They are asked to bring one bag of candy and to wear costumes.

Keep Brownsboro Beautiful is scheduled to meet on the first Tuesday of each month, at 7 p.m., at the Brownsboro Community Center.

CHANDLER LIONS

The Chandler Lions Club regular meeting dates are at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month at the Chandler Community Center.

NEW HOPE FESTIVAL

New Hope United Methodist Church is scheduled to host its annual family Fall festival Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

MOORE'S STORE

Dallas blues singer and songwriter Miss Marcy and her Texas Sugar Daddys are scheduled to perform at Moore's Store in Ben Wheeler Saturday, at 7:30 p.m.

MASONIC LODGE

The Brownsboro Masonic Lodge is scheduled to host a pancake breakfast Saturday, at 7 a.m.

Donations are requested.

VETERANS DAY

The social studies department of Brownsboro High School is set to sponsor a Veterans Day program on Nov. 11, at 9 a.m.

Veterans are asked to arrive at the school gym by 8:45 to have their photos taken for a slide presentation.
