Two shows set for `Meet the Creeps'

The production of "Meet the Creeps," written by Tim Kelly, and directed by Brownsboro drama teacher David Young, is set for Tuesday, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, at 3:30 p.m.

The play is about the Creeps, a colorful and crazy family who have a different idea of what "normal" is.

The head of the family is Sinbad, played by senior Jeffrey Jeler.

As his name suggests, he has a strong connection with his ancestors, pirates who built Creeps Mansion and supposedly hid their large treasure in the house.

Sinbad's better half is an arachnid loving woman, aptly named Tarantula, and played by sophomore Jordynn Conner.

Rounding out this eccentric and creepy cast are senior Kelcy Sciba as a scheming neighbor; senior Jacob Lehman as an ancient mummy prince, who may be more than he appears; senior Alyx Baker as the crazy "Nana"; sophomore Zach Adair as the head-butting-billy goatbutler; and many other characters

On Saturday, at 2, a haunted "spook house," carnival games, tattoos, and candy will be available.

A costume parade and contest is set for 3:15, with prizes given during intermission.

All proceeds fund scholarships, conventions, and productions.
