The deadline to obtain applications for this year's hometown heroes is set for Dec. 4.

Applications may be picked up at the Brownsboro Police Department and fire departments.

MASONIC LODGE

The Brownsboro Masonic Lodge meets on the second Monday of each month, at 6:30 p.m.

The Chandler Masonic Lodge No. 993 meets on the third Monday of each month, at 6:30 p.m.

First Baptist Church of Brownsboro hosts a senior citizen luncheon each Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.

Parkside Shores hosts Music Night with the East Texas Backroads Band, from 6 to 8:30 p.m., every first and third Monday.

CHANDLER LIONS

The Chandler Lions Club regular meeting dates are at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month at the Chandler Community Center on State Highway 31 near City Hall.
