The Texas Department of State Health Services in Athens has received limited doses of the H1N1 vaccine and will administer the vaccine to priority groups over the next few months.

These priority groups include pregnant women, all children 6-59 months, people 5 years through 64 with health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza, health-care and emergency medical personnel who provide direct patient care, and household contacts of children 6 months old.
