BROWNSBORO BAND

The Brownsboro High School Band Christmas ensemble concert and silent auction are scheduled for today, from 6 to 8 p.m., at First United Methodist Church of Chandler.

Separately, on Sunday, the band booster club is set to meet at 6 p.m. in the band hall.

The Brownsboro Young Farmer Association's annual ag auction is scheduled for Friday, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

A chili dinner will be followed by silent and live auctions at 7.

HOMETOWN HEROES

Today is the deadline to obtain applications for this year's hometown heroes.

Applications may be picked up at the Brownsboro Police Department and fire departments.
