Courtesy Photo Alexis Rumbo, 7, of Chandler got her first buck during this year’s deer season. She made the shot from 75 yards at 5:15 p.m. on Nov. 7 in the Chandler area. The buck is an 8-point with a 15-inch spread. It’s gross weight was 120 pounds. Alexis was using a .222 Sako Deluxe. She needed only the one shot, making it between the buck’s shoulders. Alexis was hunting with her dad, Brad Rumbo.
