BHS senior represents FFA at event in Indiana

Glenn Devlin Glenn Devlin Brownsboro High School senior Glenn Devlin represented Brownsboro Future Farmers of America and Texas as a state representative at the 2009 National FFA convention in Indianapolis in October.

Glenn is vice president of the Area VIII association. He was one of 40 delegates asked to represent the Texas.

He was involved in 4-H and since his freshman year has been a member of the Brownsboro FFA.

Glenn's accomplishments in FFA includes: chapter officer (as a sophomore, junior and senior); district officer (as a junior); Area VII officer (as a senior); junior chapter conducting (area president as a freshman); senior chapter conducting (district president as a sophomore and junior); and poultry judging (as a sophomore, junior, and senior.

Other accomplishments include: Sandyland FFA Convention (voting delegate as a sophomore and junior); Area VIII Convention (voting delegate, as a sophomore and junior); state FFA Convention (voting delegate, as a sophomore and junior); (courtesy corps, as a junior); national FFA Convention (national delegate, as a senior); and New Horizons committee member.

Glenn's community service projects include reworking gardens at the Key Learning Community Center at the national FFA Convention.

His parents are E.G. and Brandi Molloy of Chandler.
