The Texas Department of Transportation has released this list of projects in Henderson and Smith counties:

Henderson County

.US 175 - Adding two additional travel lanes to US 175 between Eustace and the Kaufman County line.

The $25.8 million project is on schedule to be completed in summer 2010. Garey Construction, Ltd. of Austin is the contractor.

.SH 198 - Building two new bridges to replace the single old bridge on SH 198 at Caney Creek on Cedar Creek Reservoir, ultimately allowing for four lanes of traffic.

The $21.9 million project is on schedule to be completed by the end of 2010. Concho Construction of Garland is the contractor.

Upcoming Projects

.FM 607, FM 317 - Adding 3-foot shoulders and resurfacing FM 607 between its two intersections with FM 317 in Leagueville, and adding 3-foot shoulders and resurfacing FM 317 between FM 1803 and FM 607's east intersection with FM 317.

The $1.8 million project is scheduled to begin in February. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress. Big Creek Construction, Ltd., of Waco is the contractor.

Smith County

.US 69 - Adding two lanes and depressed grass median to US 69 between Lindale and Mineola. The $43 million project is on scheduled to be completed by fall 2010. Longview Bridge and Road of Longview is the contractor.

.US 69 - Building overpass at US 69 and FM 344 in Bullard. The $11.4 million project is scheduled to be completed by summer 2010. Work zone speed limit is 45 mph. Knife River Corp. South is the contrac- tor.

.Toll 49, Segment 3A - Building two-lane toll road between SH 155 and SH 31 west of Tyler.

The $38 million project is scheduled for completion by spring 2013. Longview Bridge and Road, Ltd., is the contractor.

.West Loop 323 - Install raised medians and resurface between SH 64 (West Erwin Street) and US 69 north.

The $5.4 million project is scheduled for completion by Fall 2010. Daytime lane closures are in effect. R.K. Hall Construction of Paris is the contractor.

Upcoming Projects

.Toll 49, Segment 5, February 2010 - Construct two-lane toll road between FM 756 (Paluxy Drive) and SH 110 in Whitehouse.

The approximate $16 million project is scheduled to break ground in February or March 2010. Longview Bridge and Road is the contractor.

.FM 2493, March 2010 - Resurfacing FM 2493 (Old Jacksonville Highway) between South Loop 323 and SH 57/Grande Blvd.

The $737,000 project is scheduled to take approximately two months to complete. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress. A.L. Helmcamp of Buffalo is the contractor.

.FM 2493, May 2010 - Resurfacing FM 2493 (Old Jacksonville Highway) between US 69 in Tyler and South Loop 323.

The approximately $700,000 project is scheduled to let to contract in March 2010. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress.

.SH 110, May 2010 - Construct left-turn lane on SH 110 at FM 344 south of Whitehouse.

The approximate $385,000 project is scheduled to let to contract in March 2010. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress.

.US 69, May 2010 - Resurfacing US 69 between FM 1804 in Lindale and IH 20.

The approximately $1.5 million project is set to let to contract in March 2010. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress.

.SH 31, June 2010 - Repair and resurface SH 31 (Front Street) in Tyler between Broadway and East Loop 323.

The approximately $1 million project is scheduled to let to contract in April 2010. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress.

.US 69, June 2010 - Repair and resurface US 69 (South Broadway Ave.) in Tyler between South Loop 323 and Cumberland Road.

The approximately $3 million project is scheduled to let to contract in April 2010.

.FM 14, June 2010 - Adding shoulders to FM 14 between IH 20 and North Loop 323 in Tyler.

The approximately $2.5 million project is scheduled to let to contract in April 2010. Daytime lane closures will be in effect while the work is in progress.
