WRITER’S CORNER

A new year stands before me; I’m charged to fill it too, I must not waste a single day

While there’s so much to do. I must not think of self, alone, nor must I close my mind;

To those who stand in need of me, I must not be unkind. God counts upon me every day to live His way with men;

And I can’t do my best for Him if my life’s filled with sin.

So honesty is what He asks, and judgment, fair and true; and loyalty in every part of the work He lets me do.

God cannot smile upon me, if I’m the least untrue, or willingly get in the way of things He wants to do.

A new year stands before me; I’ll do the best I can to live in faith and loyalty to God, and my fellowman.
