Isn’t that great to know?

So many folks think God is against them and is looking for any opportunity or reason to punish them. The Bible helps us to know differently.

The Apostle Paul told the church at Rome: “I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes …” (Rom. 1:16)

Listen, the word “gospel” means “good news.” So of what good news was Paul speaking?

He tells us in his writings to the Corinthian Church. There he says the gospel (good news) is: “…that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures …” (1 Cor. 15:3,4)

The good news according to John 3:16 is that “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”

We are able to know clearly then from the Bible that a loving and merciful God planned and made it possible for us to spend eternity in Heaven with Him. As I said, He wants you there – do you know for sure you will be there?
