7th B 39, Van 25
The Bears outscored the Van Vandals in every quarter of the seventh grade championship game of the host’s “B” tournament, taking the title with a 39-25 win.
Toby Scurlock led all Bears with 17 points and Isaac Ridgle had 10 points.
Colby Scott had seven points and Ernest Eigleberger and Chase Evilsizer had two points each. Jerry Don Satterfield had one point.

8th B 34, Van 23
The 8th grade “B” team Bears took home a tournament title with a 34-23 win over tourney host Van Vandals.
The Bears posted a seven-point half-time lead and expanded it to 10 points after three periods of play.
The scoring was spread out among the Bears. Dusty Osborn and Dylan Hall had six points each to lead the way.
Tavarius Jackson and Deon Parker scored four points each. Ricky Davis, Kaleb Mandeville, Landon Compton, Tannery Essery, and George Black each scored two points.

8th B 40, Mineola 23
The Bears used an 11-2 third quarter to propel their team to a 40-23 win over Mineola.
Dusty Osborn led the way with 10 points. Tanner Essery had seven points, Deon Paker had six, and Kaleb Mandeville had five points.
Brendon Woods, Matt Smiley, Logan Compton, Dylan Hall, Matthew Toole, and Tavarius Jackson each had two points.

7th B 42, Mineola 14
The Bears were up by 17 at half-time, then by 21 after three periods of play, before coasting to a 42-14 win over Mineola.
Toby Scurlock had 13 points while Chase Evilsizer had eight points and Isaac Ridgle had six.
Braylon Whereman and Coby Scott had four points each. Cody Cade, Jerry Don Satterfi eld, Ernest Eiglebiger and Johnny Clakley had two points each.

8th B 41, Palestine 33
Tied after three periods of play, the 8th “B” Bears team outscored the Palestine Wildcats 14-6 in the final period to take an eight-point win.
Dean Parker had 16 points to lead the way. Dusty Osborn had seven points in the win.
Luke McLemore, Tavarius Jackson, and Brendon Woods each had four points. Kaleb Mandeville had three points, Tanner Essery had two, and Matt Smiley had one point.

7th B 42, Palestine 34
Brownsboro built up an eight-point lead by half-time, then held on to it throughout the second half in posting a 42-34 win.
Isaac Ridgle led the way with 14 points and Toby Scurlock added 11. Ernest Eiglebiger had five points.
Romereo Brown and Colby Scott each had four points. Jerry Don Satterfield and Deandre Taylor both scored two points.

A 19-9 third quarter in favor of their opponents was too much to overcome for the Bears, who fell by 17 points to the Fairfield Eagles.
Tavarius Jackson had eight points while Ricky Davis and Dylan Hall had four points each. Luke McLemore and George Black each scored two points and Kaleb Mandeville had one point.

The Bears defense allowed three points in the third quarter, the only points the team allowed in the game en route to a 32-point win.
Isaac Ridgle had 11 points to lead the bears and Cameron Milligan had six points. Romereo Brown had five points.
Colby Scott had four points, Cody Cade had three points, and Toby Scurlock and Braylon and Whereman had two points each.

Grace 42, 8th B 11
Brownsboro scored all 11 of its points by the end of the third quarter, before being shut out in the final period of a 42-11 loss to Grace Community.
Dusty Osborn had six points for the Bears. Deon Parker had three points. Dylan Hall had two points.

The Bears were down by four after three periods, but ran off an 11-6 fourth quarter to nip Grace Community, 24-23.
Toby Scurlock had 10 points, while Jery Don Satterfield and Romereo Brown each had four points.
Cameron Milligan, Colby Scott and Isaac Ridgle each had two points.
