Last week, we shared from the Bible how God has taken the initiative for people to go to Heaven.

He has done so because of His love, mercy and grace for you in Jesus Christ.

But there is one who opposes God’s plan and who doesn’t want you to go to Heaven or have any part of what God has made available in Christ.

The Bible says (my paraphrase) in II Cor. 4:3-4 that, “…if the Gospel (good news) is hidden, it is hidden to those that are perishing, because the god of this world (satan) has blinded the minds of those who do not believe the good news.

The enemy does this so people might not see the light of the good news of the glory that is in Christ.”

Please do not just assume that you and your loved ones will go to Heaven. Remember, a loving God has given His Son, Jesus Christ, so you can believe (trust) in Him and be sure of your eternity.

There is one, however, who doesn’t want you to believe and experience what God has provided for you in Christ. Don’t let Satan blind you to the good news that in Christ you can have a relationship with the almighty God who loves you and wants you to go to Heaven.
