Rachel Nesloney was named as ab Academic All-American , one of 10 from Lon Morris College cross country. Courtesy photo, Lon Morris College Rachel Nesloney, a freshman from Ben Wheeler, was among 10 Lon Morris College cross country runners to be named to the Academic All-American team recently.

It was a first for the college, to have Academic All- Americans named from both the men and women squads. This year, five men and five women earned the honor.

The men’s team’s combined Grade Point Average was the second-highest in the nation, while the women’s team came in 13th in the country, according to a press release issued this week by Lon Morris College.
