Johnston Katie Jeanette Johnston received her bachelor of arts in psychology from The University of North Texas during graduation ceremonies in December.

She is the daughter of Andy and Louann Johnston and the granddaughter of Catherine Crawford and the Rev. J.D. Johnston.

She is a 2005 graduate of Brownsboro High School.
