BROWNSBORO VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPT.

The Brownsboro Volunteer Fire Department is scheduled to host its annual barbeque dinner on Saturday, at 11 a.m., at Faith Baptist Church.

Orders for whole briskets and pit hams must be prepaid at Y’s Hometown Foods or the fire station.

Calvary Baptist Church is set to host its “Saddle Ridge Ranch” Vacation Bible School June 21-25 for children in grades pre-kindergarten through sixth, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

The event starts with “Cowboy Sunday” on June 20 and ends with family night.

WEST LAKE BAPTIST CHURCH

The senior adults of West Lake Baptist Church are scheduled to visit the Dallas Arboretum on June 24. Participants should arrive at the church by 8:30 a.m. to leave at 9.

And on June 27, the church will host a blood drive.

SPARKS IN THE PARK

Sparks in the Park is scheduled for July 3, at 4 p.m., at Brownsboro City Park.

Southern Made will perform, and barbeque sandwiches will be available for donations.

GOLDEN GIRLS

A booster club meeting is scheduled for July 8, at 6:30 p.m., at San Pedros in Chandler.

Car washes to raise money for camp are set for July 10 and July 24, at Citizens State Bank in Chandler.

BHS CLASS OF 1980

EDOM CIVIC THEATRE

Edom Civic Theatre is set to present “Summer Song Fest,” a scholarship fundraiser for Van and Brownsboro students, on July 17, at 7 p.m., at the Edom Community Center.
