KBB thanks ‘Sparks’ participants, sponsors

For the second year in a row, Sparks in the Park, sponsored by Keep Brownsboro Beautiful, was held on the Saturday before July 4.

This event featured Southern Made Band, barbeque, fellowship, and the new playground equipment at the Brownsboro City Park. Many citizens of the area enjoyed these events despite the heat and rain.

The new playground equipment has been over a year in planning, fundraising, and actual installation. Keep Brownsboro Beautiful would like to thank the following people and businesses for their support and generous donations:

First State Bank of Brownsboro, Brownsboro Economic Development Council, Brookshire’s Grocery Company, $1 donations through City of Brownsboro water bills, and Friends of the Park.

Without the support of these and many other valued backers, this project would still be a dream rather than a reality.

We look forward to another successful year and, hopefully, the completion of the playground. Anyone interested in donating to the remaining equipment may do so by sending checks to: Keep Brownsboro Beautiful, P.O. Box 292, Brownsboro, TX 75756.

Again, thanks to all those who contributed to this effort.
