Jewel Wright
Funeral services for Jewel Marceline Wright, 81, of Brownsboro were July 12, 2010, at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home, with Jim Welch officiating.
Burial followed at Chandler Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Wright died on July 10 in Tyler. She was born April 8, 1929, in Whitehouse.
She was a member of Hwy. 31 Church of Christ in Brownsboro and retired bookkeeper for the Tyler Morning Telegraph for more than 49 years.
Mrs. Wright loved to cook for her family. Sunday dinner was a big part of family life. She loved her two dogs, Rusty and Did He Bite You. She will be greatly missed by her family and always remembered.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper Emmett Adams and Mayme Jewel Brown; and brothers, Dr. Jasper Emmett Adams and Bobby Gene Adams.
Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband, Billy Gene Wright of Brownsboro; son, Billy Bob Wright and wife, Diana, of Tyler; daughters, Cyndie Gail Wagner and husband, Greg, of Chandler; sisters, Wanda Faye Frick and husband, David, of Troup; grandchildren, Michael Wright, Wesley Wagner, Matthew Wright, Michelle Wright, and Meggie Hauschild; greatgrandchildren, Jonathan Rhoades, Kyler Hauschild, and Tanner Wagner; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Dean and Faye Blackwell.
Pallbearers were Michael Wright, Matthew Wright, Wesley Wagner, Terry and Jerry Frick, and George Rawals. Honorary pallbearers were Dean Blackwell and great-grandsons.
