Courtesy photo, Echo Creek The Echo Creek Golf Club MGA held its monthly member tournament on Saturday, July 10.

The format for the tournament was a ‘3 club tournament’ – meaning players could only use 3 clubs for the entire round.

A few members were heard saying they played just as well as they usually do. Most said they enjoyed the experience.

The winning team was the team of Jack Bass, Ron Horton, Bonnie Stringfield, Bryan Parker, and David Hughes.

Coming in second was the team of Steve Penny, Robert Kramer, Jack Thorn, and Jane Shell.

Third place was won by Jimmy Evans, Chuck Blue, Ed Shelton, and Monty Shelton. Fourth place was held by the team of Dave Odle, J.D. Huckabee, Ron Yarbrough, Wendell Stringfield, and Sue Blue.

The next tournament is scheduled for August 14.
