DALLAS — For the fifth straight year, Ford Motor Company will recognize six student-athletes through the Built Ford Tough Texas High School Football Player of the Week Program.

The program invites fans, coaches and Texas media to honor players who “demonstrate toughness, sportsmanlike conduct and scholarship throughout the high school football season.”

Again this Fall, fans can nominate their favorite players at the redesigned playeroftheweek.com, a Web site that allows visitors to catch up with weekly winners, view video clips of players in action and get the latest program details.

Additionally, fans can keep up with award winners through a weekly television show.

TV crews will travel across the state to feature players who excel on the field, in the classroom and in their communities.
