We are looking forward to cooler days here at the Chandler Nursing Center, and are getting to use our new patio area.

We do have plans for the Pow-Wow in October, and having our “Adopt a Resident for Christmas” program again this year.

Special birthdays for the month of August: Miss Lucy, Miss LaWanda, Miss Patsy, Miss Loretta, Miss Sam, Miss Fairy (celebrated her 100th), Miss Edith and Mr. James.

The wonderful ladies from West Lake Baptist Church were back to bring us another fantastic birthday party on Aug.18.

Residents enjoyed a special visit from Elvis on the previous day.
