Job 14:7-9: “At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail. Its roots may grow old in the ground and its stump die in the soil, yet at the scent of water it will bud and put forth shoots like a plant.”
Job was saying if there is hope for a tree there is hope for me! There are many in our community and our nation who feel like Job at this very moment, The economy has hit your household, maybe you have lost your job or been diagnosed with an illness. Just like Job we need to remember his words that he shared in Chapter 14 there is hope for me and with God I will make a comeback! Remember that no matter what you’re going through, the rut that you are in is not a grave, it is a rut and it is time to knock the ends off the rut and put all your hope and trust in the one who can change all those things and his name is Jesus.
