Caregivers Supporting Caregivers of Malakoff meet every second Tuesday at 6:30pm and every second Thursday at 12:30pm at 1611 W. Royall Blvd in Malakoff at Cedar Lake Nursing Home. Faith Baptist Church Brownsboro will begin holding a Senior lunch free of charge every Tuesday at 11am.

First Baptist Church Murchison, 9623 FM 773, Food Pantry every 2nd Saturday of the month; 9am - 12pm.

Saturdays, Rock Hill Baptist Church offers a contemporary worship service at 5pm, Saturdays at the main campus at 20022 SH 31 East in Brownsboro. Call 903-852-6711 for more information.

Sundays, Rock Hill Baptist Church offers a traditional worship service at 8:30 am, a contemporary worship at 10am and evening worship at 6:30pm on the main campus at 20022 SH 31 East. The public is invited to the 13th annual Family Fun Night benefit, hosted by Murchison Methodist Women, outside on the church grounds of the First United Methodist Church on SH31 East in Murchison. Saturday, October 21, 4-7pm. The event will benefit the Henderson County Food Pantry. There will be several events including hayrides, jump house, cakewalk, Professor QB doing magic, face painting, door prizes and food. Highway 31 Bad will perform. Kim Campbell, wife of the legendary Rhinestone Cowboy Artist Glen Campbell, is an impassioned speaker who has an intimate understanding of the complex challenges faced by people living with dementia and their families. Mrs. Campbell will be the keynote speaker at the sixth annual Butterfly Hope Luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 7pm at Willow Brook Country Club in Tyler. A limited number of individual tickets are available. Sponsorships are available. Brownsboro Young Farmers will hold their annual Chili Supper and Auction at 6pm on December 2. The organization is selling raffle tickets for a Winchester 26 Gun Safe with a mystery gun valued at $1200. The drawing will take place during the auction.
