Caregivers Supporting Caregivers of Malakoff meet every second Tuesday at 6:30pm and every second Thursday at 12:30pm at 1611 W. Royall Blvd in Malakoff at Cedar Lake Nursing Home. Faith Baptist Church Brownsboro will begin holding a Senior lunch free of charge every Tuesday at 11am.

First Baptist Church Murchison, 9623 FM 773, Food Pantry every 2nd Saturday of the month; 9am - 12pm.

Saturdays, Rock Hill Baptist Church offers a contemporary worship service at 5pm, Saturdays at the main campus at 20022 SH 31 East in Brownsboro. Call 903-852-6711 for more information.

Sundays, Rock Hill Baptist Church offers a traditional worship service at 8:30am and a contemporary worship at 10am on the main campus at 20022 SH 31 East. Children’s Church is offered during the 10am service. Call 903-852-6711.

Stomp Parkinson’s Disease for A Cure will meet the second Thursday of each month at 1pm at Arabella, 413 Gibson Road in Athens. For more information please contact Jean Everett at 903-681-4167.

Friendly games of 42 and 84 (dominoes) and mahjong are being played Tuesdays at 1:30 om at the Heritage Hall at the First United Methodist Church. Beginners are welcome.

St. Boniface Catholic Church

St. Boniface Catholic Church of Chandler at 318 S. Broad St. will hold Faith Formation Classes (CCD) for adults every Tuesday night at 6pm. Please come join us. Children’s Faith Formation Classes (CCD) are held every Wednesday night at 6pm. St. Boniface is also offering a 24 week course on The Great Adventure bible study. Sign up in the community room at the church.

Saturdays, St. Boniface Catholic Church offers a Vigil Mass at 5pm. Saturday at the Church located at 318 South Broad St. in Chandler. All are welcome.

Sunday, St. Boniface Catholic Church offers a English Mass at 9:30am and a Spanish Mass at 12:00 at the Church located at 318 South Broad St. in Chandler .Call 903.849.3234. All are welcome to come worship with us.

The Great Adventure Class, a comprehensive study of the Bible started at St. Boniface Catholic Church Chandler on Tuesday January 16th. Even if you did not sign up for the class Please feel free to join us. Classes are held at 6:30pm each Tuesday evening.

We here at St. Boniface Catholic Church are beginning to develop a St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) style social-service. We are doing this in cooperation with the SVdP Society in Athens. If you would like to help

St. Boniface Catholic Church is becoming a Stewardship Parish. If you have TIME (primarily to do with prayer and service, TALENT (has to do with our abilities, both natural and acquired) and TREASURE (responsible management of our possessions and our money, especially in order to help others) then you too can become a Christian steward. Please come and join us in this endeavor.

Jan., 18 at 6:30pm the Alter Society of St. Boniface Catholic Church will have their installation of their officers. All women of the church are invited to join us. Husbands are invited. Please bring a favorite dish to share.

Sat., Jan 20 The Diocese of Tyler, which St. Boniface is a part of, encourage parents of children with Special Needs and Disabilities to join the Diocesan Regional Mass at St. Joseph in Marshall at 10am to learn of the exciting things for Families with Special Needs. They are God’s precious ones who deserve our love and support. Luncheon to follow. Please plan to attend. Chandler Chamber of Commerce Annual Membership Banquet will be held on Thursday, Feb. 8, 6pm at First United Methodist Church Family Life Center. More information to follow.

Sat., Feb 10 at 10:30am there will be a World Marriage Day Anniversary Celebration Mass and Reception with Bishop Joseph Strickland at The Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Tyler. All couples celebrating wedding anniversaries ending in 0 or 5 and couples celebrating more than 50 years of marriage in 2018 are cordially invited to attend.
