Survivors include; sons, Joe Hugghins of Talihina OK., Ron Hugghins of Trinidad; daughters, Anita Hugghins of Talihina OK., and Linda Harris of Athens; her grandchildren, Bryan and Jeannette Hugghins of New Braunfels, April and Travis Rainwater of North Carolina, Jeremy and Lynn Hugghins of Athens, Jason Hugghins of Talihina OK, Robyn and Demetrius Vasquez of Athens, Brie Ocasio of Talihina OK, and Jennifer and Alex Rodriquez of Mansfield; 16 great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Landon, Hannah, Noah, Ashton, Truman, Griffin, Mason, Bailey, Ethaylee, Ethan, Naudia, Abby, Stella, Gracie, and Madilyn.

Alice was an avid reader, she would sit and read 6 to 8 books a week. She enjoyed going to Las Vegas with her husband Gerald. They knew all the good places along the way to stop and spend the night and had many years of fun and adventure with Virgil and Carla Brown. Spending time with her husband Gerald was something that she adored, and especially going dancing and fishing together. Alice was not fond of cooking, but she was very fond of eating out and looked forward to their trips to a good restaurant. Alice loved her precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much. She missed not being able to spend more time with those that lived away from her. At Easter time each year, she hid all the eggs for the grandkids, and then the kids would hide them for her and Gerald to find, and they always had a great time with this tradition. Alice worked for a meat wrapper company in Dallas, but when she moved back to Athens, she worked for Dairy Queen for Jay Benson and Daryl Cox. She will be greatly missed by all of those who loved her.

Funeral services were Friday, March 2, 2018 at 2pm at First Baptist Church of Crossroads with a fellowship reception beginning at 12:30pm prior to the service. Bro Frank Upchurch will be officiating. Burial to follow at Patterson Cemetery.
