Faith Baptist Church Brownsboro will begin holding a Senior lunch free of charge every Tuesday at 11am.

Saturdays, Rock Hill Baptist Church offers a contemporary worship service at 5pm, Saturdays at the main campus at 20022 SH 31 East in Brownsboro. Call 903-852-6711 for more information.

Sundays, Rock Hill Baptist Church offers a traditional worship service at 8:30am and a contemporary worship at 10am on the main campus at 20022 SH 31 East. Children’s Church is offered during the 10am service. Call 903-852-6711.

Stomp Parkinson’s Disease for A Cure will meet the second Thursday of each month at 1pm at Arabella, 413 Gibson Road in Athens. For more information please contact Jean Everett at 903-681-4167.

Friendly games of 42 and 84 (dominoes) and mahjong are being played Tuesdays at 1:30 om at the Heritage Hall at the First United Methodist Church. Beginners are welcome.

Henderson County Tea Party meets the third Monday of each month. Eastern Hills Church of Christ on Hwy 175, Athens; 7pm.

St. Boniface Catholic Church

St. Boniface Catholic Church of Chandler will hold Faith Formation Classes (CCD) for adults Tuesday nights at 6pm.

Confessions are held: Friday (Spanish) 6-7pm and after Mass. Saturday (English) 4-5pm and after Mass; or call the church office for an appointment.

St. Boniface has obtained the Catholic education on-line resources from “FORMED,” from the Augustine Institute. “FORMED” is a wonderful tool for individuals, children, teens, and families. You can go to www.stbonifacechandler. formed.org, click “register.” There is a link on the website under the faith formation tab, there is also a flyer available in the community room.

Saturdays, St. Boniface Catholic Church offers a Vigil Mass at 5pm Saturday.

Sunday, St. Boniface Catholic Church offers a English Mass at 9:30am / Spanish Mass at 12:00.

The Great Adventure Class, a comprehensive study of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, showing the relationship of the Old Testament to the New. 6:30pm Tuesdays. Classes are for children and adults.

A motivational movie for “Step Up To Success” in education will take place Sunday afternoon, July 15, starting soon after 1:30 in the Followship Hall of St. Boniface. Its title is “Spare Parts.” Let’s get fired up for the blessings of a good education. Both parents and children are invited.

Careers On Wheels Event July 18, 8:30 to 9:45am; Brownsboro High School Parking Lot; Free Admission; Join local businesses and organizations in our area as they share career information with children 18 and under.

August 4

6th Annual Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show; Saturday, August 4, Registration 8am- Noon, Awards at 2:30pm; Malakoff High School, 15201 FM 3062, Malakoff; Sponsored by Henderson County Black History Committee; Benefits scholarships for students in Henderson County schools. August 11

The Brownsboro High School Class of 1968 has begun planning their 50th Class Reunion. Please SAVE THIS DATE if you are a member of this class. The Reunion is set for Saturday, August 11, 2018; 2pm- 6pm; Brownsboro Junior High Cafeteria. Although the main focus of the reunion will be on the Class of 1968, anyone who attended Brownsboro schools will be welcome to attend by making a reservation through Brenda Robertson at 903-852-6136.
