Paxton Thomas Sanders

Services for Paxton Thomas Sanders, 17, of Brownsboro, were scheduled for Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Rock Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Welch and Rev. Danny Bristow officiating. Burial was in River Hills Farm Cemetery under direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.

Paxton passed away August 2, 2018 in Tyler. He was born September 10, 2000 in Shreveport, LA.

To know Paxton was to love Paxton, he never met a stranger. His greatest joys were hunting, fishing and his old blue truck. He reveled in telling hunting and fishing tales, even if a little exaggerated. Paxton loved his family and friends fiercely and was an amazing role model for his younger brothers and cousins. His favorite places to enjoy God’s beautiful creations were Lake Greeson and River Hills Farm.

He was known to be wise beyond his years, people frequently referred to him as having an “old soul.” Paxton was never afraid to share his faith and would use his love of nature to minister to others. “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” 2 Cor. 5:8
